What Is Newsworthy?

2. Significance: The more people that have benefited from your service, the more newsworthy your services.

3. Proximity: The closer the story to home, the more newsworthy it is.

4. Prominence: Famous and infamous people get more coverage just because they are well known.

5. Human interest: Human interest stories appeal to emotion, which is a key factor in making the decision to hire a professional. Feel-good elements increase your newsworthiness of your services.
